Neshoba County native Linda Gale Reed, who was once missing and then wanted, has been charged with three counts of embezzlement after being served an indictment in Copiah County jail Friday afternoon, it was reported.

According to msnewsnow.com, the charges involve petty cash and checks written in connection to her employer, Moore Fabrication.

In April 2012, Reed was reported missing.

Close to six months later, in October, her status shifted to being wanted for embezzlement after an independent audit and a federal investigation revealed money missing from her employer's petty cash fund, the website reports.

Reed was located nearly five months later in Longview, Texas, where she was working as a bookkeeper under her own name.
