A Delta woman was arrested here last week on meth charges.

Amary Liss Teagu Adams, 43, of Indianola, was arrested and charged with possession of a felony quantity of methamphetamine.

Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell said that Adams was brought in the early morning hours on May 2 by Deputy Alex Brown.

Waddell said that Brown was out on a routine patrol when he noticed a suspicious vehicle. Upon further inspection, he found Adams slumped over the steering wheel of the vehicle. A search of the vehicle found the drugs in a duffle bag.

Waddell said that Adams remains in the Neshoba County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
