A 59-year-old white female, possibly suffering from Alzheimer's, was found safe after she apparently wandered away from her home in the Woodland Hills area Friday afternoon.
The woman disappeared from her residence around 4 p.m. and was located later that day a short distance from her home.
A police officer was bitten on the wrist by a dog, after responding to a report of an aggressive dog on Poplar Avenue. The officer was treated and released at the county hospital.
The dog was taken to animal control.
