Police are investigating the cause of a four-wheeler accident that claimed the life of a young man.
Daniel Stribling, 22, of 402 Austin St., died Sunday, June 9 after being in the hospitalized for a week following a four-wheeler accident on Northwest Street at around 5 p.m. on June 1, Investigator Fredesz Moore said.
While an exact cause for the accident has not yet been determined, Moore said it is believed Stribling lost control and was thrown from the vehicling, ending up in a nearby wooded area.
The four-wheeler came to a rest further down the street.
"We did not see any skid marks," Moore said, noting the marks would be concurrent with speeding.
Stribling was in coma before passing away a week later, he said.
The case is still under investigation, until we can make our final judgment, Moore said.
"We're trying to piece it all together," he said.
Beck Funeral Home in Philadelphia is handling the arrangements, which have not been finalized at press time.
