An iPod 4, GPS system and a purse were among items stolen in four separate vehicle burglaries which occurred last week in the city.

The owner of a GMC truck reported finding his front driver's side window broken and an iPod 4 and a pair of binoculars missing at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, Chief of Police Grant Myers said.

That same morning at 11:34 a.m., a purse was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence on the 300 block of Loper Street.

A GPS system was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at Wal-Mart around 4 p.m. Sunday.

Entry was made through the windows which had been left down a few inches, Myers said.

The latest burglary occurred on between 11 p.m. on Sunday and 5:30 a.m. on Monday at a residence on May Street, Myers said.

The owner of a car reported a gym bag missing, he said. The vehicle was found unlocked. Anyone with information on the burglaries should call 656-2131,
