Acts 2: 1: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

On Sunday at 4 p.m. Bro. Mac Alford had a singing and fellowship meal at their cane mill on Fork Road. Some went on a hay ride. There was lots of good food for everyone. It was like having church with everyone having a good time and praising the Lord. We want to thank them for asking us to come and sing. There is nothing like neighbors getting together and getting to know each other.

Courtney and Jonathon were able to carry their baby Noel home this past week. We thank God that the baby is fine. Bobby Faye and T Boy visited Frances this week and left on Sunday morning. Diane and RC Wilson went to the coast this past weekend. They made it home safely we hear. Renea and Bentley came by on Friday to see us. It sure was good seeing them.

We were sorry to hear about the passing of Bobby Gamblin, and also Judy Rudolph this week. Pray for these families that God's hands will be upon them as the days go by.

Our great-grandson, Axle Sullivan, is home and doing better. Thanks for all the prayers lifted up for him.

We enjoyed seeing all the patients at JG Alexander and Hilltop last Wednesday. They really bless your heart. A special "hello" to all of them in area nursing homes.

Happy birthday to Nick Glass on Nov. 2. There are special unspoken prayer requests for quite a few this week. Pray for the homeless for it is a sad time during the holidays. Pray for warmth during the cold winter days for some that may not have enough heat. I talked to my sister-in-law, Jane Glass, she is doing better. She has been in rehabilitation for her hip for several weeks but is home now.

November is Thanksgiving month but we must be thankful all the time for what we have. Have a great week and God bless.
