Merkell and I visited last Tuesday in the home of Bro. Lamar Day and Mary Grace. We had a good visit. Their daughters and one granddaughter were there. Bro. Day had a good message Sunday morning. He does a good job. Pray for his ministry on the radio.

Helen Rich came and spent the night with Merkell and me on Saturday. Valeria, my daughter from Memphis, will be here with us on Wednesday. We always enjoy her coming. We had a call this week from David, Jessica, Ashton, and little Lily. They are doing fine. Charles Ray and Shonda call almost everyday to hear how we are doing. It is wonderful for children and grandchildren to check on their parents and grandparents. We must pray for each other every day (because prayer works.) A special hello to all the people in the Fork community. We hope you have a wonderful week.

I would like to say that I miss Mrs. Mary Alice Fulton's Spring Creek local in the paper. She is a fine Christian person. Thank you for your dedication and we all love you.

Congratulations to Trey and Nikki Bass on the arrival of a little girl named Caitlyn Allison.

Psalms 66:1-2 says: "Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of His name: make His praise glorious. Continue to pray for Chris Burns, Diane Clark, Maggie Burton, Grayson and Alli Jenkins, Jada Noel and Courtney. Pray for all the cancer patients taking treatments and all the elderly in our nursing homes. Pray for our nation and all of her people that God's love will help us get through the task that is before us. God bless our soldiers and their families.

We were sorry to learn about Eitha Burks and Dinkey Morris Austin passing away recently.

Iva Lou and Junior attended their class reunion in Louisville earlier in the week. They reported a large crowd in attendance.

We hope the OctoberFest was a success this past weekend. It will soon be Halloween once again, so please be careful and watch out for all the little gobblins crossing the streets.

The Young at Heart group will be singing at JG Alexander and Hilltop Manor on Oct. 23. Bobby Faye and T Boy are coming to visit Frances Davis on Wednesday. We hope to see them while they are up from the Mississippi coast.
