Southern Heritage sang at the Pentecostal Out Reach Church on Fork Road on Saturday night at 6:30 p.m.
They were named the Mississippi Gospel Singers last year so if you get a chance, go and hear them.
Happy belated birthday wishes go out to Madelyn Ladd and Debbie Chisolm on Oct. 2.
The Ladd family reunion will be held Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Neshoba County Coliseum.
Friends and family are welcome. Please bring a covered dish.
On the prayer list this week are the sick people in the Fork community, and the elderly in our area nursing homes.
Pray for Courtney and her baby, the cancer patients taking treatments, and pray for our country that the leaders will make the right decision.
I talked with Nelda Harmond. She is doing good and said to tell all her friends a special "hello."
Pray for Virginia Copeland also.
I talked to Maggie Burton Saturday evening. Pray that she will soon be good as new.
Pray for Christine Burns and Bro. Hugh Martin in the death of his wife.
She was a very sweet lady.
The Young at Heart Band will be singing at Choctaw Residential and Atwood Oct. 14.
We are looking forward to seeing all of them since we missed last month due to the surgery of Merkell Glass and Lamar Clark.
Helen Rich spent the weekend with us.
My sister, Ann Palmer needs prayer.
Also, there are several unspoken prayer request.
Matthew 17:20: And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall be removed: and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Have a great week and God bless you for reading the paper.
