Citizens Bank promotes three

Greg McKee, President and CEO of The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia, announced three promotions this week.
Liz Owen was promoted to assistant vice president, HR and chief risk officer; Scott Lewis, assistant vice president and IT security officer; and Ashley Peebles, assistant vice president and customer service manager.
Owen is a 2001 graduate of Neshoba Central High School. She is a Summa Cum Laude Graduate from Mississippi State University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration.
In 2006 she received her Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University.
She has been employed with The Citizens Bank since 2006. Owen serves as secretary/treasurer of the Philadelphia Home Arts Club. She serves on the Philadelphia-Neshoba County Chamber Board and is also a member of the board for the Neshoba County Chapter of the United Way.
She is married to Chris Owen and is the daughter of Danny Joe and Janice Johnson. They attend East Philadelphia Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
Lewis has been with The Citizens Bank in their Information Technology department since June, 2003. He has been employed in the Information Technology field for the past 20 years. His experience has been in IT management, system administration, network administration, database administration and also owned his own computer consulting firm. He is currently serving as information security officer for the bank. His responsibilities are to manage all aspects of security and risk for The Citizens Bank corporate network.
He is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He is also a member of the Shavlik Technologies, Inc. Professional Advisory Council, a member of Infragard which is a consortium of individuals from the FBI, Homeland Security, Law Enforcement and Private Organizations with the purpose of sharing information regarding cyber security threats and also a member of the Mississippi Cyber Security Working Group which is led by the Department of Homeland Security.
He is married to Sandi Lewis who is the Site Coordinator for the Christian Women's Job Corp of Philadelphia. They have been married since 1990. His parents are Harold and Dot Lewis of Philadelphia. They attend First Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
Peebles is a 1998 graduate of Neshoba Central High School and 2002 graduate from Mississippi State University where she received a bachelor degree in marketing. She is also a graduate of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and is designated as a Certified Financial Marketing Professional.
She has been employed with The Citizens Bank since 2003 in various capacities.
She currently serves as secretary for Philadelphia Neshoba County Boys and Girls Club, serves on the For the Children board and is treasurer for Philadelphia Elementary School PTO.
She is married to Ben Peebles and has one son, Pete. They attend Holy Cross Catholic Church in Philadelphia.
