Police are investigating a break in at a hair salon off east Main Street last week.

Investigator Fredesz Moore said DeWanda Foxhall arrived at her salon at 1010B Main St. on Friday at 8 a.m. only to find it had been broken into.

"Forced entry was made through the front door," Moore said. "They took some hair products and $165 in cash."

The thief or thieves exited through the side door, he added.

The burglary occurred sometime between when Foxhall closed her business on Thursday and when she arrived the next day, Moore said.

Investigator Bobby Patillo added that "the place had been ransacked."

Patillo said that he is currently looking into leads but no arrests have been made yet.
