A computer, mixing board and television were taken in a burglary at Hope Baptist Church on Mississippi 488, which was reported Sunday at 7 a.m., Sheriff's investigator Kevin Baysinger said.
At this time the point of entry into the church has not been determined, he said.
A member arrived at the church early Sunday to prepare for a morning breakfast and reported the burglary.
"He arrived to find the meat for the meal already out on the table," Baysinger said. "It's believed they intended to take the meat."
Along with the stolen items, the sanctuary walls and pulpit of the church were sprayed with black paint with such words and letters such as "weed," "sue," "13 loco," "krazie," "joker," and "love or hate."
"We believe the words were taken from a movie," Baysinger said.
Currently deputies are following up on leads, looking for two suspects. The third suspect is being held for questioning is the Choctaw Detention Center.
