The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indian's Bok Homa Casino in Jones County celebrated its two-year anniversary on Dec. 20.

Since its grand opening on the same date in 2010, Bok Homa has provided high-quality gaming and promotions to thousands of guests in the Pine Belt and surrounding areas, officials said.

The anniversary celebration began with a slot tournament and remarks by Tribal Chief Phyliss J. Anderson followed by the cutting of the anniversary cake.

Chief Anderson also announced the winners of the Anniversary Slot Tournament and the event concluded with a $15,000 cash giveaway promotion.

"Over the past two years, Bok Homa has been steadily growing and I attribute its success to our loyal guests, hard-working team members and the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians," said Sonny Johnson, Vice President of Casino Operations for Pearl River Resort.

"I am confident that we will continue to thrive and further serve our community as each year progresses."
