Ribbon will be cut Thursday morning opening a new manufacturing facility on the Choctaw Indian Reservation where it will produce world-class products such as the Eco-Elite Series of walk-in bathtubs.

KemPosits LLC will utilize Light Resin Transfer Moulding to produce the bathtubs at its location in the Choctaw TechParc.

"It is my pleasure to welcome KemPosits here to our Choctaw TechParc," Tribal Chief Phyliss J. Anderson said.

"This new partnership has great potential for expanding job opportunities in a high-tech manufacturing setting. KemPosits brings with it a solid reputation and reinforces the tribe's commitment in diversifying our business portfolio through composite product manufacturing opportunities generated by partnering with KemPosits."

The 10 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony will feature remarks from Rep. Gregg Harper from Mississippi's Third Congressional District; David Vowell, Community Development Partnership president; Frank Rhea with Trustmark National Bank and Tribal Chief Anderson.

Charlie Quinn, KemPosits President and CEO, expressed his excitement in joining the local and surrounding communities and businesses that have played such a key part in getting the enterprise to the production phase.

To date, KemPosits has invested $2 million into state-of-the-art equipment to boost the facility ahead of their competition.

"I appreciated the attitude, willingness, work ethic, and dedication of the individuals during the construction phase," said Quinn. "I also appreciate the willingness of the work force to undergo intense training in new technologies."

Quinn said he eagerly looks forward to establishing a world class facility in the LRTM industry with AS9100 quality credentials. Some of the peripheral services provided by KemPosits are Metal Fabrication, Powder Coating, and Tooling Design/Fabri-cation.

"I want to extend a special thanks to Chief Phyliss J. Anderson, the Choctaw Tribal Council, David Vowell, John Hendrix, and Frank Rhea for all of their dedication and support to this project," Quinn. Said.

KemPosits' first product will be a walk-in bathtub for elderly and disabled individuals.
