“Arts & All That Jazz” will be the theme of the Philadelphia-Neshoba County Arts Council’s wine and cheese membership meeting set for Thursday.

President Jacob Starks said the event will include a wine and cheese tasting, a silent auction, a wine raffle, live jazz music and great food.

The membership meeting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bridges the Venue.

The Arts Council has had an outstanding year with seven productions in the historic Ellis Theater.

In addition, the Arts Council has been solely responsible for continuing the ever popular cakewalk at the Neshoba County Fair over the years.

“It should a fun night for people to come out and help us continue our success,” Starks said.  “You will also have an opportunity to vote for the new board of the Arts Council.”
