Casey Mars was appointed as the newest member of the Park Commission.

"I'm very excited," Mars said of her appointment. "I feel with the age of my children I plan to spend many years out at the park and I hope to see it grow."
The Park Commission members serve five-year terms.
Mars term will expire in 2016.
