4-H shooting sports practicing weekly

The Neshoba County Shooting Sports program is in full swing now and participants are practicing weekly.
Practices are as follows: Mondays we are having shotgun practice at 3:30 p.m., at the Beason property in the Fork community. Tuesdays we are having archery practice at 4 p.m., at the coliseum near the stall barn.
Thursdays we are having rifle and pistol practice at 4 p.m., at the Beason property in the Fork community and the Herring property in the Sandtown community.
These practices will culminate with district competition which will be held April 27 in Biloxi at the Coast Rifle and Pistol Club. Registration for this contest will begin March 18 and will conclude April 8.

2013 SPRING 4-H
FASHION REVUE RESULTS
The 2013 Spring 4-H Fashion Revue was held recently at the Senior Citizens Center at Northside Park with eleven participants.
All 4-H'ers received blue ribbons. Results were as follows.
In level II clothing construction for ages 8-18 Madison Alford placed first.
In clothing selection for girls ages 14-18 Elizabeth Craft placed first and Chloe Pinter placed second. In clothing selection for girls ages 8-13 Cayla Fortenberry placed first and Katlyn Mooney placed second.
In clothing selection for boys ages 8-13 Reece Craft placed first, Payton Skinner placed second and Steve Bowman placed third.
In the cloverbud for boys ages 5-7 Jason Erik Hatten, Jr. placed first, Christian Ellis placed second and Ty Skinner placed third. Congratulations to each of these participants.
March 14 - Rifle and Pistol Practice, 4 p.m., Beason Property in Fork Community and Herring property in Sandtown Community.
March 18 - Shotgun Practice, 3:30 p.m., Beason Property in Fork Community.
March 19 - Archery Practice, 4 p.m., Coliseum Area Near Stall Barn.

March 21 - Rifle and Pistol Practice, 4 p.m., Beason Property in Fork Community and Herring property in Sandtown Community.
