There are two poster contests being held this spring that 4-H'ers may want to participate in.

They are the Mississippi 4-H Poster Art Program and the Dairy Poster contest.

The Mississippi 4-H Poster Art Program will be held again this year. The themes are: The Green Promise and an open theme which allows 4-H members to create a poster using their own theme.

There are two age categories for this contest, juniors ages 8-13 and seniors ages 14-18.

Please call for a complete set of rules.

Our top two county posters will be taken to 4-H Club Congress for judging at the state level.

Posters will be due to me no later than Friday, May 17.

The theme for the 2013 Dairy Poster contest is "Dairy Packs Power."

If you are interested in participating, please call and I will get you a complete set of rules.

Age categories are 8-10, 11-13 and 14-18.

Posters will be due to me no later than Friday, May 17.

I will take the top poster in each category to 4-H Club Congress for judging at the state level.

The other entries will be displayed somewhere in the county during the month of June to celebrate Dairy Month.
