10 compete tonight for Princess title

Ten young ladies will compete tonight for the coveted title of Choctaw Indian Princess, during the 64th annual Choctaw Indian Fair.
The fair opens today for four fun-filled days of culture and spirit including Tribal arts, crafts, dances, native foods and the thrilling action of World Championship Stickball.
This year's fair will include an appearance by Uncle Si Robertson from A&E's hit show Duck Dynasty.
The fair will continue through Saturday, July 13.
The princess pageant will begin at 7 p.m. (See story, photos page 6A)
Chief Phyliss J. Anderson will host Chief's Hour each day at 6 p.m., welcoming special guests, dignitaries, royalty and fairgoers to Choctaw.
Chart-topping country and Native American acts take the stage Thursday through Saturday.
The World Series of stickball will be played each night starting 10:15 p.m.
On Thursday, Native American singer/songwriter Jana Mashonee will perform at 7 p.m. followed by Country Music star Josh Turner at 8:30 p.m.
Nashville duo Kari & Billy will take the stage on Friday at 7 p.m. followed by Texas native Pat Green at 8:30 p.m.
The Native American trio Plateros will entertain fairgoers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday followed by Country Music star Justin Moore at 8:30 p.m.
The second annual REZ RUN will take place on Saturday of the fair beginning at 7 a.m. REZ RUN includes a 10K, 5K and a one-mile fun run/walk.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the 10K and 5K races. The starting line is located at the Choctaw Central High School football field.

Also on Saturday, Si Robertson, from A&E's top rated show Duck Dynasty, will be on the fairgrounds for a special "Ask Si" question/answer session for the Duck Dynasty Experience.
This event requires separate tickets, which are limited in supply.
These ticket prices are $10 and show times are 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Pearl River Resort Welcome Center or by calling the "Hey Jack" hotline at 601-650-1625 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Regular fair pass admission still applies and must accompany a Duck Dynasty pass.
Tickets are now on sale for the 64th Annual Choctaw Indian Fair and the Duck Dynasty Experience! Tickets can be purchased at the Pearl River Resort Welcome Center now through July 9.
Tickets are $20 for an adult season pass, $12 for an adult day pass and $7 for a student day pass.
The student season pass will stay the same at $10.
Duck Dynasty Experience tickets will also be sold for $10 each, while supplies last.
