Two Neshoba Sheriff's cars damaged
in high-speed pursuit out of Union

A police chase which began in Union ended at the intersection of Mississippi 16 west and the bypass with the arrest of a Forest man.
Two Sheriff's cars and at least one from Union Police were damaged in a high speed pursuit that started in Union and ended at the intersection of Mississippi 16 west and the bypass.
Two Sheriff's cars and a Union police car were damaged in the pursuit, Neshoba County Sheriff Tommy Waddell said.
The chase stemmed from a traffic violation in Union, he said.
"Union Police notified us that they were on the way and needed our assistance," Waddell said.
Also responding were Philadelphia Police and Chief Bill Cox, the Mississippi Highway Patrol and the state Department of Transportation.
