No one was injured after a Neshoba Central school bus carrying football players veered off the street and struck a SUV parked on Beacon Street, Friday afternoon.

Police officer Mark Gore said the bus to hit a Chevrolet Tahoe, which was parked in front of Magnolias & Sassafras with driver Valerie Summers of Coffeeville inside.

"It was a nice jar," said Summers.

Officer Gore added that the bus driver was taken to Neshoba County General Hospital by ambulance for examination.

The bus damaged rear end of the SUV and pushed the vehicle into the raised curb. The glass door of the bus was also shattered.
