Nearly 30 barbecue teams were setting up downtown Friday morning in preparation for the Memphis Barbecue Network-sanctioned competition at the Ham Jam Arts Festival.

Ham Jam gets underway tonight and will include performances by Bad Habit at 7 p.m. followed by Southbound at 8 p.m.

Saturday festivities kick off at 8 a.m. with the Hog Wild Run.
