McDonald charged with manslaughter in shooting death

Kelvin McDonald, 22, of 379 Loper St., was charged with manslaughter Monday afternoon in connection with the death of a man who was shot Thursday night in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Pearl Street.
Samuel Grady, 28, of 10520 Road 747, died in the county hospital after being shot one time in the right torso about 8:50 p.m.
He was taken by private vehicle to the hospital where he was pronounced dead about 10 p.m.
Police Investigator Fredesz Moore said the case remains under investigation.
