A repeat offender has been charged with six charges including three violent felonies.

James Bryan Buckley, 42, of 12090 Highway 485, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, possession of a firearm by convicted felon and malicious mischief over $1,000.

There were also outstanding warrants on rape, kidnapping and domestic violence-aggravated assault charges.

Neshoba County Sheriff’s Investigator Derek Wyatt said that deputies were called to a residence last Thursday evening on Highway 485, where Buckley’s mother lives.

“He was causing a disturbance at his mother's house and when we arrived on scene he was found to be in possession of a firearm,” Wyatt said. "There is really not a whole lot to it."

Wyatt said that the rape, kidnapping and assault charges were existing warrants filed by another previous victim.

Buckley is a convicted felon, but authorities did not specify for what. Also, they could not say what the rape, kidnapping and domestic violence-aggravated assault charges were related to.

His bond was set at $97,500. As of Tuesday, he was still in the Neshoba County Jail.
