Two suspects described as black males in their late teens or early 20s are wanted in an armed robbery of the Dollar Tree in Philadelphia Tuesday evening.

Philadelphia Police were dispatched about 5:30 p.m. to the store at 211 S Lewis Ave #30 near the intersection of Main Street.

No injuries were reported an undisclosed amount of cash was taken, said Philadelphia Police Chief Grant Myers.




Police are reviewing camera footage from nearby businesses to see if they can identify the suspects.

A vehicle fitting the description of stopped on Main Street at McKay Avenue behind Firehouse Barbecue. Both lanes of traffic were blocked momentarily by multiple police units and they sped off in all directions.
